FAQ

What makes your paint-by-numbers kits different from others?

Unlike standard PBN kits, our designs feature intricate details, premium pre-mixed acrylic paints, and a DIY framing system, ensuring a display-worthy finish. We also provide detailed instructions on our website to guide you through an advanced yet rewarding artistic experience.

Are these kits suitable for beginners?

Our kits are more challenging than standard PBNs, making them ideal for those looking to push their creative limits. However, detailed instructions and premium materials ensure that less experienced painters can enjoy the process and achieve an impressive final result.

What’s included in each kit?

Each kit includes 64 pre-mixed premium acrylic paints, five precision paintbrushes, a premium DIY framing kit, and detailed instructions—everything you need to create a professional-quality artwork.

Do I need an easel to paint these kits?

No! Our kits can be painted on any flat surface. If you want to use an easel, however, you can easily stretch the canvas with the stretch frame provided and mount the stretched canvas on the easel before painting.

What if I make a mistake while painting?

Mistakes are easy to fix! Our high-quality acrylic paints dry quickly and allow for easy layering, so you can simply paint over any errors.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you're not completely happy with your kit, we’ll provide a full refund

How long does it take to complete a painting?

The time required to complete an Elevate Artworks kit depends on individual pace and the complexity of the artwork. Due to the detailed nature of our kits, most customers spend anywhere from 30 to 50 hours working on their piece—making it a long-term, rewarding artistic challenge

Can I put the painting away when it is partially done and come back to it later?

Yes! Our quick-drying paints and flexible canvas allow you to conveniently store a partially completed painting for another day. Any light creases will be stretched out in the framing phase. As long as the canvas is rolled or gently folded (no hard creases) you can safely store your painting for later.

What kind of paint do you use?

We use high-quality pre-mixed acrylic paints for their vibrant colours, fast drying time, and ease of layering. Unlike oil paints, acrylics don’t require long drying periods or complex blending, making them ideal for precise paint-by-numbers applications.

Do the paints dry out quickly? How should I store them?

Our premium acrylic paints are designed to maintain their texture, but for best results, keep the lids closed when not in use. If they start to thicken, you can add a few drops of water to restore consistency.

How does the DIY framing kit work?

Our DIY frame comes in two parts that join together - a wooden stretch frame to stretch the canvas and a black museum-style floater frame. This design ensures damage-free shipping while providing a museum-worthy finish once assembled. Detailed assembly instructions are included on our website.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Yes, we prioritize sustainability by using minimal plastic and recyclable packaging wherever possible. Our materials are designed to be both protective and environmentally responsible.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We currently ship to the UK and the EU  and we’re working on expanding our reach even further.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary based on location but on average it should take about 2-4 business days.

Can I use my own paints instead of the ones provided?

Yes! Our pre-mixed acrylic paints are specially chosen to match the image’s colour palette and coverage requirements, but if you feel comfortable adding your own personal touch then we say go for it.
